Boys and Birthdays

They are so difficult sometimes! I actually just noticed it's about a month before my 26th day! Yoooozers. And no I'm not gonna give a countdown or a wish list, sorry not that cool, or maybe because it's just an "eh" birthday....plus I don't really care if we go out and get "crunked". God I'm growing up way too fast. Either way, get a pen- it's the 30th WOO HOO...and the WOO HOO part is strictly because my birthday is pretty popular, no not for famous people being born or any specail years in history (minus June 30th 1983 ::enter time of my birth here:: wink wink) but for the cool fact that things expire on my day!! Whether it be handicap stickers, coupons, sales, etc....take a look around "Valid till 6/30/09"- "Good until 6/30/09", it's everywhere! Ohhh I live such the glam life! But OK back to the real reason for this post....ahh Mark, such the cutie.

But had to share this fun convo we had last night..

MM: "I don't know what to get you for your birthday."

Kudos for planning ahead though...

JL: "I don't want anything, really." "Just you to loooove me.." ::bat eyes here::

MM: "I'd love you a whole lot more if you just told me what you want."

JL " Oh hahahaha."

Fast forward a few moments (and me practically watching the wheels turn in his smart little head)

MM: "Oh I have a great gift for you since you love Battlestar Galactica ."

JL: "Oh gee, thanks." (yes I despise BSG)

So why can't a girl seriously not want anything for her birthday!!!? Really, there isn't anything I want or need. Maybe a nice place for dinner that he thought of is plenty (hating that he reads my blog right....NOW), or maybe him coming home and saying I've set up an open house (since all we do is "talk" about moving) but really that's it, can't that be enough, after all if you really love someone aren't you just suppose to show them you care?? Plus anything I would like or need I can easily get myself soo ugh. Maybe I'll just start telling him I realllllllly must have the new coach handbag that is $698 dollars...

Any thoughts....or anyone out there in need of anything that I can get him to buy for me and then I can just give to you??? :)

Happy weekend, and Happy review day is over. WHEW! :)

Los Angeles.

WHAT A TRIP!!! It was great, could have easily stayed longer but are vacations ever long
enough!!? :)
Soooo LA, what a place. It's SUPPPER dirty, busy and HOT (which is ok) but yea, definitely DIRTY with umm lots of interesting people to say the least. The good news is there is SO much to do so close by!!

So back to "The Pantry Raccoon" aka PR aka Hung Luu. I brought him with us because he has this minor obsession with the West Coast. Sooo much of an obsession that he fancies the coast a number of times a year. I'm not just talking a quick weekend trip to LA and back, I'm talking stop here, stop there and even a stop over in Vegas! This guy rules, and definitely knows his coast! :) I was quite honored to be guided through LA, Hollywood, various beaches, up the coast and even to Dodger's Sadium with his help and expertise. So thank you Hung you are the best (and only) tour guide!!! I do hope to one day plan, witness, and survive a trip to Vegas with you.

And for everyone else-now the highlights....

Note to everyone-rent a convertible! Though I'm sure it made us look even that much more tourist-y but whatever-be jealous it's ok.

Even though it's sunny mid-80's almost everyday it's STILL quite chilly by the ocean, and of course the day we went to lay out it was cloudy! But still we (our feet) were technically IN the ocean!

Ahhhhhh thank god for pools!!! This is what I live for-here, there, anywhere!!

Yum-authentic Mexican means MARGARITAS!!! Code for "dangerous" for Jen oh and for PR ;)

DODGERTOWN!!! Such a fun CLEAN park! :)

So thats just about a third of all the pictures and I'm tired, so if you need more Facebook me and then you too can look at all my pretty pictures, you know you're itiching to see them AND be my friend, yes we'd make good friends, I am cool and can help you with that. ;)

SO WOO HOO FOR CALIFORNIA!!!!

xoxo, Jennifer, PR and Mark.

Home Sweet Home.

Yeaaaaah we're home, from California, wishing I was still there with my BFF Miss Sunshine but really glad to be home. Yes disappointing many I'm sure but I'm tired and we just watched the Blackhawks make it 0-2 with the Redwings so I'm in no mood to post/blog our (super fantastic) vacation-more on that later soooo here's something to tie you over.

"PR" helping me pick seashells on the Santa Monica Beach for my cheesy "DIY" picture frame...And then one of my favorites of US and quite possibly my new background. :-)
Tune in later this week where I can actually tell you why on earth a gal would take a Raccoon on her vacation yes, it WILL make sense trust me-I'll come full circle with it..hang tight.

Off to go relieve the DVR a bit of her duties....night.

The Pantry Raccoon

Leaving for LA shortly....just wanted to let you know the story behind "The Pantry Raccoon"-

So every time "PR" comes over he tends to eat everything in sight that I've baked or cooked...I'd like to believe it's because my cooking is just that good! Either way his reoccurring visits to "our" home (almost ours) has caused Mark to nickname him "The Pantry Raccoon" based on a podcast from Adam Corolla where he talked about how this one kid used to come over and raid the pantry like a raccoon...so there ya go!!. Needless to say.. he is officially packed!! So gang meet "PR", "PR" meet the gang....
You might recognize him better here-"pantry-ing" it up as always....(on the left) (and wow I look hot)
LATER KIDS.....

I'm having sort of a "bloggers block"....and I've just been really busy with work and stressed to the max for I'm not really sure why...but I guess we all have are breaking points. On a good note I was given an award from one of my top 3 favorite bloggers! She is so very cute and kinda my idol, and she lives in FL so I'm always jealous!! :) So go visit Jen and send some love like she always does for me! Oh yeah Princess MiMi and Tom-Tom-SUCH CUTIES! She is gonna have her hands full with those soon-to-be heart breakers! :)

Drum roll plllllllllease...my award! It's called the "Splash" award and it was given to me for being "alluring, amusing, bewitching, impressive and inspiring". Man this is borderline bedroom talk! Ha, but I'm still speechless and still very excited for it!! :) Thank again Jen!

Oh and I almost forgot, my newest find....

I just LOVE this stuff...I've never really been able to grow nails (lovely hypothyroidism likes to mess that up, as well as your hair and blood circulation-fun huh?!) until NOW...wow this stuff is amazing and totally worth the $12.95. Although I did find a lot of 3 on Ebay for $21.95, which works perfect because both my mom and sister are getting one in their Mother's Day baskets (hope they haven't found my blog yet-if so they just ruined it for themselves!) So if you need help or want strong long nails go get this stuff!! I love finding good stuff, don't you!?

Ok that's all for now and probably for a while, leaving for California next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah OH. MY. GOD., I'm excited and really need a break from the stuff I deal with everyday, no offense still love it all, but breaks are nice too. So enjoy our time apart, enjoy the increasingly warmer weather, and enjoy your Mother-everyday NOT just on Sunday! Here is me, Mom and Sis (mom of the best niece ever-Taylor) taken a few years ago.....

Peace out.

Really!?

Well geeeeeze, it only takes one person to ruin it for us all....Unfortunately that person is 10 and as pale as a ghost and probably shouldn't be tanning at all.
